I want to install a package sox which can be install using apt-get .I already try to install using pip and conda env but its not working .
If there is an alternative to apt-get to install a package please let me know

The system is fedora based so the package manager is ‘yum’ not ‘apt’, but we do not allow sudo access so it is not possible to install this package through yum.
However, it seems that pip works perfectly fine on my test account

    pip install --user sox

Can you elaborate on “pip is not working”?
